Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Kitchen Equipment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine and detailed preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, emergency repairs, and ensuring the smooth operation of all kitchen equipment. This role requires proficiency in maintaining a variety of commercial kitchen appliances and machinery.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
● Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of kitchen equipment, including Rational Combi Ovens, Deck Ovens, Dishwashing Machines, Pizza Ovens, Gas Burners, Deep Fryers, Hot Plates, and more.

● Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance on kitchen equipment, motors, devices, and machinery to ensure optimal performance.

● Diagnose and repair or replace defective parts in kitchen equipment, electrical systems, motors, switches, and other industrial fixtures.

● Install, maintain, and repair electromechanical and electrical components of kitchen machinery and equipment.

● Troubleshoot electrical equipment, lighting systems, and electrical components such as faulty breakers, disconnects, etc.

● Assist in the movement of machines, materials, and equipment as required and actively participate in month-end inventories and asset tagging.

● Adhere to safety guidelines, including job hazard analysis and lockout/tagout procedures, and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

● Communicate effectively with colleagues and guests to ensure efficient operations.

● Perform any other maintenance-related tasks as assigned by the Chief Engineer.

𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:
● Education: Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical,
● Electrical, or Industrial Engineering) or related field.

● Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with proven expertise in repairing and maintaining commercial kitchen appliances.

𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬:
● Proficiency in the installation, repair, and maintenance of kitchen appliances (ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, cooking equipment, etc.).

● Strong ability to identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical faults in kitchen equipment.

● Familiarity with industry safety standards and codes, including electrical codes, gas regulations, and health and safety protocols.

● Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
