We are seeking a skilled and passionate Commis with 3-5 years of experience in pastry and bakery to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in preparing high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods, and will contribute to maintaining exceptional standards of presentation and taste.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and production of pastries, cakes, breads, and other baked goods.
Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistency and quality in all products.
Assist senior pastry chefs in creating new recipes and seasonal offerings.
Ensure all pastry and bakery items are prepared in accordance with health and safety standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry and bakery sections.
Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management for baking ingredients.
Ensure proper handling and storage of all ingredients to maintain freshness.
Adhere to hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen at all times.
Assist with the presentation and plating of desserts and bakery items.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
3-5 years of experience in a pastry/bakery position, ideally in a fast-paced culinary environment.
Formal culinary training or certification is preferred.
Strong knowledge of baking techniques, pastry preparation, and dessert presentation.
Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a team environment.
Excellent attention to detail and a passion for pastry and bakery work.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
Knowledge of health and safety standards in food preparation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
