Description

 
Perform inspection of welding, coating/painting, and surface preparation activities as per approved ITPs.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, approved procedures, and applicable international codes and standards.
Conduct visual welding inspections and coordinate required NDT activities with third-party agencies.
Inspect surface preparation and coating applications including blasting, painting, DFT, and curing processes.
Review and verify WPS, PQR, welder qualifications, and coating material approvals.
Prepare inspection reports, NCRs, punch lists, and follow up on corrective actions.
Coordinate with QA/QC, construction, and client representatives to resolve quality issues.
Maintain proper QA/QC documentation and ensure traceability of inspection record
Must hold valid BGas Grade 2 certification along with CSWIP 3.1 / 3.2 certification.
Minimum 5–10 years of inspection experience in welding, coating/painting, and surface preparation works.
Strong exposure to oil & gas or industrial projects.
Sound knowledge of welding inspection, NDT coordination, painting inspection, and coating systems.
Familiar with QA/QC documentation, inspection reporting, and international standards/codes.
Good communication and coordination skills with site and client teams.
