Key Responsibilities
Deploy & Configure Gigamon Appliances: Install, configure, and maintain GigaVUE series appliances, clustering, and H/Vision platforms in enterprise/data center environments.
Network Traffic Monitoring & Analysis: Monitor mirrored traffic, perform packet-level analysis (Wireshark or similar), and troubleshoot network and application issues.
Integration with Security & Monitoring Tools: Integrate Gigamon platforms with IDS/IPS, SIEM, and other monitoring solutions to ensure complete network visibility.
Network Engineering & Optimization: Collaborate with network teams on routing, switching, VLANs, SPAN, and TAP configurations to optimize traffic delivery and visibility.
Change & Incident Management: Follow ITIL processes for changes, incidents, and problems; document configurations and operational procedures.
 
Automation & Continuous Improvement: Develop automation scripts (Python, Ansible) and implement best practices to enhance deployment efficiency and platform performance.
