Job Summary
The HVAC Engineer will handle installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems, including chillers and cold room equipment. The role involves performing heat load calculations, preparing drawings, conducting refrigerant-related tasks, and ensuring systems operate efficiently and safely. The engineer will also coordinate with clients and support project execution.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems, including commercial and industrial chillers
• Perform heat load calculations and prepare relevant design documentation.
• Handle refrigerant charging, leak detection, pressure testing, and calibration of systems
•Ensure all HVAC works comply with safety standards and local regulations
• Manage cold room and commercial refrigeration systems including evaporators, condensing units, and temperature control mechanisms
• Prepare technical presentations and provide technical support during client meetings
•Draft, review, and interpret HVAC drawings and layouts
Qualifications & Experience
• 1–4 years of relevant HVAC experience
•Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation practices
• Experience with large commercial/industrial chillers
• Skilled in drafting, heat load calculations, and design interpretation
• Good understanding of cold room and commercial refrigeration systems
