Description

 
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of all electrical systems, including motors, pumps, panels, transformers, switchgear, and control systems in the STP.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in power distribution, control circuits, and instrumentation wiring.
Conduct routine inspection and testing of electrical installations and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment and systems.
Maintain records of maintenance activities, test reports, and electrical system performance.
Ensure proper functioning of standby generators, UPS systems, and emergency power supplies.
Work closely with mechanical and instrumentation teams for integrated maintenance activities.
Follow all electrical safety procedures and support continuous improvement in plant reliability and efficiency.
 
Education: Diploma / ITI in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Electrical Technician in a Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), Water Treatment Plant (WTP), or similar industrial facility.
Knowledge:
Electrical systems up to 415V/11kV (LV/MV systems).
Control panels, MCCs, VFDs, PLC interface circuits, and instrumentation wiring.
Safety standards and isolation procedures for electrical maintenance.
Skills: Ability to read electrical drawings, perform troubleshooting, and use electrical testing instruments (megger, multimeter, clamp meter, etc.).
