Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to oversee and manage all site-related electrical works. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in building construction, LV/MV electrical systems, power distribution, ELV systems, and authority regulations, with the ability to lead site teams and ensure successful project execution.
•         Quantity surveying for electrical systems and preparation of quotation.
•         Supervise and monitor day-to-day electrical site works to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and standards.
•         Prepare and follow up on Inspection Requests (IRs) and Request for Information (RFIs).
•         Review, prepare, and modify shop drawings and as-built drawings as per site conditions.
•         Assign tasks to site electricians/technicians, guide them, and ensure work is completed with quality and within deadlines.
•         Coordinate with civil and mechanical disciplines to resolve site clashes and ensure smooth workflow.
•         Ensure compliance with Kahramaa regulations, QCS, and local authority requirements.
•         Conduct inspections of materials, installations, and equipment as per QA/QC standards.
•         Oversee installation of power distribution, lighting, earthing, ELV systems (CCTV, Fire Alarm, Access Control, Telephone/Data), MDBs, SMDBs, and DBs.
•         Manage site documentation, daily progress reports, and technical submissions.
•         Attend site meetings and provide progress updates and technical input.
•         Ensure safety compliance and implement site safety measures.
 
•         Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
•         Minimum 5–7 years of electrical site experience in MEP projects (preferably residential/mixed-use buildings).
•         Strong knowledge of LV/MV systems, ELV systems, lighting, power distribution, and authority regulations.
•         Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit is a plus.
•         Excellent understanding of Kahramaa approval process and local authority codes.
•         Strong leadership, supervision, and coordination skills.
•         Good communication and reporting skills (verbal & written).
•         Flexible, proactive, and problem-solving mindset.
