Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Generator Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of generators and related electrical systems.
Install new generator sets and associated control systems according to manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
Perform load bank testing and operational commissioning.
Configure Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) and Automatic Mains Failure (AMF) systems.
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on generator engines, alternators, control panels, and fuel systems.
Perform oil, fuel, and coolant changes, filter replacements, and battery maintenance.
Identify, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical faults, including AVR, voltage regulators, and governor systems.
Replace worn-out components and carry out overhauls when required.
 
Use diagnostic tools to identify faults in generator control systems (e.g., DSE, ComAp, Woodward).
Measure and record generator performance parameters such as voltage, frequency, and load.
Conduct and insulation resistance testing, Winding Resistance, and Overhauling of Alternators with bearing replacement and alighnments
