Description

Our client is looking for qualified Welding Inspectors to oversee welding activities and ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards for a project in Ras Laffan.

Key Responsibilities:
1)Monitor and inspect welding activities to ensure compliance with WPS, codes (ASME/API/ISO), and client specifications
2)Conduct fit-up and visual inspections before, during, and after welding
3)Verify welder qualifications and welding consumables
4)Interpret radiographic and NDT reports
5)Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality documentation
6)Coordinate with QC, construction, and client representatives
7)Ensure adherence to safety protocols on site

Qualifications:
-Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
-CSWIP 3.1 or AWS-CWI certification is mandatory
-Minimum 5 years of experience in welding inspection, preferably in oil & gas or petrochemical sector
-Knowledge of international welding codes & standards (ASME, AWS, API)
-Valid QID and can join immediately
