Description

Key Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to fire alarms, emergencies, and rescue operations

Extinguish fires using appropriate equipment and techniques

Perform search and rescue operations

Administer basic first aid and emergency medical care

Conduct fire prevention inspections and safety drills

Maintain and inspect firefighting equipment and vehicles

Participate in ongoing training and physical fitness exercises

Complete incident reports and other required documentation

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent

Certified Firefighter training (completion of fire academy preferred)

EMT certification (preferred or required, depending on jurisdiction)

Physically fit and able to pass a Firefighter Physical Ability Test

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Ability to remain calm and act quickly in high-pressure situations

Valid driver’s license; clean driving record

Willingness to work in shifts, including nights and weekends
