Description

We are looking for a Airline Ticketing Travel Agent who will be  responsible for assisting passengers with reservations, ticket issuance, flight changes, cancellations, fare calculations, and providing general travel information. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with global distribution systems (GDS) like Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
Issue domestic and international airline tickets using GDS.
Handle reservations, rebookings, and cancellations.
Provide fare quotes and upsell ancillary services like baggage, meals, or seat upgrades.
Advise passengers on travel requirements (visas, travel restrictions, layovers).
Manage customer inquiries via phone, email, or at the ticketing counter.
Maintain accurate records of ticketing transactions and refunds.
Process payments and reconcile daily sales reports.
Collaborate with airlines, hotels, and travel partners for customer service solutions.

High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
Proven experience in airline ticketing or travel agency.
Proficiency in GDS platforms (e.g., Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Knowledge of IATA codes and airline fare rules is a plus.
Multilingual abilities.
Customer service certification.
Crisis handling and problem-solving skills.
