Job Title: Interior Designer (Art & Creative Background) Department: Design & Creative
Reports To: Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Interior Designer with a strong background in arts to join our specialized artwork company. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for aesthetics, a deep appreciation for fine art, and the ability to integrate artwork seamlessly into interior spaces. You will collaborate with artists, clients, and architects to create visually stunning environments that highlight and enhance curated art collections.
Key Responsibilities:
Art-Centric Interior Design:
• Develop Artwork design concepts that showcase and complement high-value artwork, sculptures, and installations.
• Create mood boards, 3D visualizations, and material palettes that emphasize the synergy between art and space.
• Design bespoke display solutions (gallery walls, lighting, custom framing, and spatial arrangements) to enhance artwork presentation.
• Collaborate with artists and curators to ensure the design respects and elevates their work.
• Recommend Artwork Locations on Layout plans and Produce shop drawings including sections and elevations..etc
Client & Project Management:
• Consult with high-end residential, commercial, or Corporate clients to understand their vision and art collection needs.
• Present design proposals with a strong artistic narrative, including material samples, sketches, and digital renderings.
• Oversee project execution, ensuring artwork placement, lighting, and spatial flow align with the design intent.
Technical & Creative Execution:
• Produce detailed floor plans, elevations, and specifications for contractors and installers.
• Select finishes, furnishings, and architectural details that harmonize with the artwork (e.g., neutral backdrops, strategic lighting).
• Stay updated on art trends, emerging artists, and innovative display technologies (e.g., digital art installations). Collaboration & Sourcing:
• Liaise with framers, lighting specialists, and artisans to create custom display elements.
• Source and recommend art pieces from the company’s collection or external artists to fit client projects.
• Work with marketing teams to photograph styled spaces for portfolios and promotional materials.

Qualifications & Skills:
• Education: Degree in Interior Design, Fine Arts, or related field (portfolio required).
• Experience: 3+ years in interior design, preferably with exposure to galleries, museums, luxury residences, or art-focused spaces.
• Technical Skills: o Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), and 3D rendering tools. o Knowledge of art history, conservation standards, and lighting techniques for artwork.
• Soft Skills:
o Strong artistic sensibility and storytelling ability.
o Excellent communication for client presentations and team collaboration.
o Project management and multitasking in deadline-driven environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Background in fine arts, curation, or art consultancy.
• Experience with high-end residential or commercial art projects. • Familiarity with sustainable design practices and smart lighting systems.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to visit project sites, lift sample materials, and oversee installations.
