Job Title – QUANTITY SURVEYOR / ESTIMATION OFFICER
INTRODUCTION
We are seeking a QUANTITY SURVEYOR / ESTIMATION OFFICER, presently located in Qatar and available for immediately.  Experience in facility management preferrable. Cvil Engineer with UPDA can also apply. 
Experience – Minimum 5 years’ experience in Qatar
Job Description:
1.    Review design and prepare BOQ’s needs.
2.    Estimate the quantity and costs of materials.
3.    Set budgets for payments, inventory needs, and materials.
4.    Analyse costs for maintenance and additional building needs
5.    Track changes in plans or constructions; update budgets
6.    Negotiate with contractors and subcontractors.
7.    Function as a liaison between clients and site managers/engineers
8.    Keep track of construction materials and inventory
9.    Identify potential financial or construction risks.
10.     Advise clients on improvements, strategies, and/or estimated costs.
11.     Document progress, materials, and reports on project
12.     Source maintenance costs and facilities management for clients
13.     Develop and maintain working relationships with contractors and subcontractors.
14.     Utilize software to calculate, record, and track inventory and estimates.
 
15.     Analyse completed projects to determine ROI and compare costs.
