Description

• Collaborate with electrical engineers and other team members to develop detailed design plans for power distribution and lighting systems using Autodesk Revit 2020 or latest version.
• Create accurate and comprehensive 3D models of electrical systems, incorporating power distribution, lighting fixtures, and related components.
• Work closely with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure proper integration and coordination of electrical elements within the overall building model.
• Generate detailed drawings, schedules, and documentation to effectively communicate design intent to internal teams, clients, and contractors.
• Contribute to lighting design efforts, specifying fixtures and ensuring appropriate lighting levels for different building spaces.
• Design power distribution systems, including panel layouts, circuiting, and load calculations.
• Participate actively in Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes, fostering collaboration and coordination among various project stakeholders.
• Manage and update Revit models throughout the design and construction phases, incorporating revisions and changes as required.
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of the electrical models and associated documentation.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit software with a focus on electrical systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical design principles, codes, and standards.
• Relevant education or experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Familiarity with BIM processes and collaboration tools.
• Previous experience as an Electrical Revit Modeler or similar role is preferred.
• Experience working on commercial, residential, or industrial projects is advantageous.
