Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) AC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of VRF systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to perform installations, maintenance, and repairs efficiently. As a VRF AC Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of VRF HVAC systems, contributing to the comfort and climate control of our clients' spaces.
Responsibilities:
1.     Installation and Commissioning:
·       Install, configure, and commission VRF AC systems according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
·       Ensure proper sizing and placement of indoor and outdoor units.
·       Conduct thorough testing and inspections to verify system functionality.
2.     Maintenance and Repairs:
·       Perform routine maintenance on VRF systems to ensure their continued efficiency.
·       Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with VRF components, including compressors, valves, and electronic controls.
·       Execute timely and effective repairs to restore system functionality.
3.     System Optimization:
·       Optimize VRF systems for energy efficiency and performance.
·       Adjust settings, calibrate controls, and implement enhancements to improve overall system operation.
4.     Customer Service:
·       Interact with clients to understand their HVAC needs and address any concerns.
·       Provide clear explanations of work performed and offer recommendations for system improvement.
5.     Documentation:
·       Maintain accurate records of all installations, maintenance activities, and repairs.
·       Generate service reports and documentation for clients and internal records.
Qualifications:
·       Proven experience as a VRF AC Technician or in a similar role.
·       In-depth knowledge of VRF HVAC systems, their components, and operation.
·       Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing VRF-related issues.
·       Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and safety protocols.
·       Strong communication and customer service skills.
·       Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
·       Physical fitness and the ability to work in various environments.
Education and Certifications:
·       High school diploma or equivalent.
·       Technical certification or diploma in HVAC or a related field.
·       Additional certifications related to VRF systems (preferred).
