Description

Looking for one senior site engineer - civil to manage the construction/site-related activities on our current projects. The role involves managing a number of small to mid-sized short projects. Candidate will be working from the main/site office and should be visiting site venues as required.
Key points:
• Must have previous experience working in Qatar or GCC Oil & Gas for Civil Maintenance at least 10 to 12 years
• Must have experience in managing critical projects
• Must be proficient in the use of Auto CAD
• Experience with Microsoft project or similar planning software an advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Day to day communication with the client representative.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Plan the daily, weekly and monthly site-related activities
• Manage a team of foremen, supervisors and engineers on a daily basis
• Should have convincing capability while meeting with the client/s
• Ensure project cost and progress reports are submitted by your team for management review as required
• Ensure that materials requests are placed in a timely manner
• Ensure that manpower assigned to each job is working productively at all times
• Coordinate with QA QC Compliance on the works executed.
• Ensure that all company resources are being used productively at all times
• Ensure to have all plans and procedures to be in place for the project.
• Coordinate, prepare, review and finalize Project documents and correspondences such as: technical notes, schedule and critical paths analysis, decision records, progress reporting, outline budget, minutes of meeting, letters, memos, PowerPoint presentations, MOC trends, interface queries and agreements.
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
License/Certification: MMUP Preferred
Qatar Driving License is must.
Benefits: Salary Range: QAR 10,000 to QAR 11,000 (Accommodation & Transportation provided by company)
