A beverages manufacturing factory in Doha Qatar is looking for All Around Procurement Officer
pref candidate with work experiences in Coke Cola, PEPSI, beverages, carbonated, water or soft drink industry and warehousing.
 
 
-Perform buying duties when necessary.
• Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers and to departments originating requests.
• Compare suppliers' bills with bids and purchase orders to verify accuracy.
• Prepare, maintain, and review purchasing files, reports and price lists.
• Check shipments when they arrive to ensure that orders have been filled correctly and that goods meet specifications.
• Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates to determine the best bid among potential suppliers.
• Review requisition orders to verify accuracy, terminology, and specifications.
• Determine if inventory quantities are enough for needs, ordering more materials when necessary.
• Calculate costs of orders, and charge or forward invoices to appropriate accounts.
• Maintain knowledge of all organizational and governmental rules affecting purchases and provide information about these rules to organization staff members and to vendors.
• Contact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems.
• Track the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders.
• Respond to customer and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations.
• Locate suppliers, using sources such as catalogs and the internet, and interview them to gather information about products to be ordered.
• Monitor contractor performance, recommending contract modifications when necessary.
Experience with purchasing / planning or a comparable role (warehousing);
• Fluent in the English language;
 • Knowledge of and affinity with technical specifications;
• Excellent knowledge of Office 365, Outlook, ERP systems is a plus.
 
Essential Functions
Coordinate purchasing activities with production and engineering departments in an efficient and cost-effective way;
• Ensure annual savings in the purchase of materials;
• Perform financial analysis, such as evaluations of total costs;
• Finding (new) suppliers and conducting business assessments and evaluations with major suppliers;
 • Process and monitor purchase requests and ensure that they are correct.
Ensure the optimization of freight logistics (road / air / sea);
Perform root cause analysis to prevent recurring problems;
Place purchase orders and monitor them to meet production demand
 
Must have NOC.
Immediate available to join within 7 days upon receiving the Offer letter
Driving License is essential.
