Description

As a Document Controller, responsibilities include overseeing the organization, distribution, and maintenance of documents. This involves managing external correspondence, ensuring timely and accurate document flow, and maintaining effective communication with external stakeholders. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, proficiency in document management systems, and the ability to facilitate smooth interactions between the organization and external partners.
Tasks to be handled, but not limited to
Handling external correspondence related to projects and clients
Assist in coordinating the preparation of lighting submittals for consultant and client reviews.
Support the management of comprehensive documentation for lighting projects.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather necessary information.
Ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards in lighting documentation.
Meticulously file and track records of lighting documents.
Facilitate correspondences with suppliers to obtain specific documents required for submittals.
Assist in addressing and resolving discrepancies identified during the review process.
Maintaining hard and soft copy filing

Qualifications:
Previous exposure to document control, preferably in the electrical industry.
Familiarity with lighting terminology, products, and specifications is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for filing and tracking tasks.
Note: Engineering background not mandatory; a basic understanding of technical lighting concepts is desirable.
