In this role, you will use your AutoCAD 3D, SketchUp, and kitchen software expertise to work closely with a close-knit group of consulting engineers who provide design services in multi-disciplinary office, furniture, and kitchen design, a pivotal role in supporting and growing these teams
Qualifications
• This role requires you to use your Computer-Aided Drafting & Design Degree, or commensurate experience in the engineering field using AutoCAD 3D and SketchUp and a kitchens design program
• Familiarity/experience with furniture and kitchen projects is a
• Familiarity/experience with modeling in SketchUp, Revit, 3D MAX other 3D modeling/rendering software a plus to support.
Duties
• Collaborate with engineers in designing and reviewing rough drawings, drawings, and other engineering data.
Assist in preparing design plans for furniture and kitchen projects using AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Make contractor bids and shop drawings.
Assist in planning site plans.
Create tables of quantities and extract quantities from drawings and attachments
