Job Title: Private Registred Nurse

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health conditions, including vital signs, medical history, and current symptoms.

2. Medical Care: Administer medications, injections, and prescribed treatments as per the healthcare plan developed by the patient's physician.

3. Monitoring: Regularly monitor and record patients' progress, symptoms, and vital signs. Keep detailed and accurate medical records.

4. Wound Care: Provide wound care, dressing changes, and monitor healing progress for patients with injuries or surgical wounds.

5. Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Assist patients with basic tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility, ensuring their comfort and dignity.

6. Nutrition and Hydration: Monitor and assist with patients' dietary needs, ensuring they receive proper nutrition and hydration as per their healthcare plan.

7. Educational Support: Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions, medications, and necessary lifestyle changes. Provide instructions on managing health issues independently where applicable.

8. Emotional Support: Offer emotional support and companionship to patients, especially those dealing with chronic illnesses or undergoing challenging treatments.

9. Coordination: Coordinate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure a comprehensive and holistic approach to patient care.

10. Emergency Response: Be prepared to handle medical emergencies, provide first aid, and initiate emergency protocols when necessary.

11. Advocacy: Act as an advocate for the patient, ensuring their needs and preferences are communicated to the healthcare team.

12. Maintain Confidentiality: Adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines and respect the privacy of patients and their families.

Requirements:

3. Compassion: Strong empathy and compassion for patients, understanding their unique needs and providing emotional support.

4. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

5. Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing schedules and patient needs, often requiring evening, weekend, or holiday shifts.

6. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address medical and non-medical issues that may arise during patient care.

8. Physical Stamina: Good physical health and stamina to assist patients with mobility and perform various caregiving tasks.

Salary : Up to 5000 QA
