Job Title: Onsite IT Full-Time Employee (FTE)*

*Shift Schedule: Rotating Shifts (24/7) - 7-day Rota*

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Onsite IT Full-Time Employee (FTE) to join our team in Qatar. This position will play a crucial role in maintaining and supporting our IT infrastructure, ensuring that our systems are running smoothly around the clock.
*Job Overview:*
As an Onsite IT FTE, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support to our organization. You will work on a rotating shift schedule, covering all hours of the day and night over a 7-day rota. Your primary objective is to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our IT systems, as well as assist end-users with technical issues as they arise.
*Key Responsibilities:*
1. *System Maintenance:* Perform routine checks, updates, and maintenance tasks on servers, networks, and other IT equipment to ensure optimal performance.
2. *Technical Support:* Respond promptly to technical issues reported by employees and provide solutions or escalate to the appropriate team when necessary.
3. *Troubleshooting:* Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network problems in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
4. *Security:* Monitor and enforce IT security policies, including access control and data protection measures.
5. *Documentation:* Maintain accurate records of all IT-related activities, including equipment inventory, repairs, and user requests.
6. *Backup and Recovery:* Implement and test backup and disaster recovery procedures to safeguard data integrity.
7. *Collaboration:* Collaborate with the IT team and other departments to implement IT projects and improvements.
8. *User Training:* Provide basic IT training and guidance to end-users to enhance their technical knowledge and skills.
9. *Compliance:* Ensure compliance with relevant IT standards, regulations, and best practices.
*Qualifications:*
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as an IT technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, hardware, and software.
- Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work on a rotating shift schedule, including nights and weekends.
- IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified) is a plus.
