Description

We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Travel Consultant with a strong background in planning and organizing holidays. As a Travel Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to create exceptional travel experiences for our clients by curating personalized holiday packages that cater to their unique preferences and interests.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement: Interact with clients in a friendly and professional manner to understand their travel requirements, preferences, and budget constraints. Utilize your expertise to suggest suitable holiday options that align with their needs.
Itinerary Planning: Design creative and comprehensive travel itineraries, including transportation, accommodation, activities, and other relevant services, ensuring a seamless and memorable travel experience.
Destination Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of popular holiday destinations, emerging travel trends, and unique experiences, to offer expert advice and recommendations to clients.
Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with various travel partners, such as airlines, hotels, tour operators, and local guides, to negotiate competitive rates and ensure the smooth execution of travel arrangements.
Booking and Documentation: Assist clients in making reservations and handling all necessary travel documentation, including visas, travel insurance, and other required paperwork.
Customer Support: Provide ongoing support to clients before, during, and after their travels, addressing any inquiries or issues promptly to ensure their satisfaction.
Sales and Targets: Meet and exceed sales targets through effective promotion of holiday packages and additional travel services, such as travel upgrades and add-ons.
Compliance and Regulations: Stay informed about travel industry regulations and adhere to company policies and standards when managing bookings and client information.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven work experience as a Travel Consultant with a focus on holidays.
Excellent knowledge of popular travel destinations, tourist attractions, and holiday activities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and travel partners.
Ability to listen to client preferences and convert them into tailor-made holiday packages.
Proficiency in using travel booking software and tools.
Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to upsell travel services and packages.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple client bookings simultaneously.
Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude to handle unforeseen challenges during travel.
A passion for travel and a keen interest in exploring new destinations and experiences.
