Job Title: School Housekeeping Staff
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented School Housekeeping Staff to maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for our educational institution. As a vital member of our support team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our school facilities are well-maintained and conducive to a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Cleaning and Sanitizing: Perform routine cleaning tasks to ensure all areas of the school premises are clean, hygienic, and presentable. This includes classrooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, common areas, and any other designated spaces.
2. Waste Management: Properly dispose of waste, recyclables, and hazardous materials following the school's waste management protocols.
3. Floor Care: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors as needed to maintain a clean and safe walking surface for students, staff, and visitors.
4. Surface Maintenance: Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, windows, and fixtures, to maintain cleanliness and a germ-free environment.
5. Restroom Maintenance: Ensure restrooms are well-stocked with essential supplies (e.g., soap, paper towels, and toilet paper) and are consistently clean and odor-free.
6. Equipment and Supplies: Monitor and maintain cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies inventory. Report any needs for restocking or repairs to the appropriate supervisor.
7. Safety and Security: Assist in maintaining a secure and hazard-free environment. Report any safety concerns or maintenance issues promptly to the appropriate authorities.
8. Special Events Support: Assist in preparing event spaces for school activities, meetings, and special events as required.
9. Collaboration: Work cooperatively with other members of the school staff to support a positive and productive school environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to follow cleaning protocols and safety guidelines.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently to meet cleaning standards.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that involve standing, bending, and lifting.
- Good communication skills and the ability to understand and follow instructions.
- Reliability and punctuality in attendance to ensure cleanliness throughout the school day.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
- Prefer nationality - Philippines, Nepal, Sri Lanka
