Description

We are seeking a candidate with extensive international exposure, you will be qualified with a number of years PQE (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) and will have proven experience of leading finance teams. We will consider candidates stepping up into a CFO role if they can demonstrate extensive experience in the other key areas.

Oversee financial reporting, accounting, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
Manage cash flow, investments, and capital structure to maximize returns.
Implement and manage financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Develop and improve financial planning, forecasting and guidance to the business.
Drive profitability through sound commercial decision making and make a strong commercial and operational contribution to the business.
Working with the CEO and other senior executives to identify and evaluate potential strategic growth opportunities.
Manage relationships with suppliers and customers.
Overall responsibility for the annual audit process and management assurance
Ensure compliance with all financial and regulatory requirements.
Work with the sales team to set the financial agenda of the business and play an active role in margin management and margin planning.
Prepare and present financial reports to the Board of Directors

15 years of experience in Qatar.
Previous experience as a CFO/Finance Director with either ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualifications.
Background in auditing, this would ideally be from a Big 4 company, but not essential.
Good negotiation skills and the ability to fully understand and maximise all the components of a distribution business.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to drive results and lead change.
Passion and commitment with high personal integrity, and a practical and hardworking presence.
A strong and self-confident team player with a collaborative and facilitative leadership style

Applicant must have an experience in Qatar.
