Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialisy to join our team. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our payroll system and providing exceptional service to our employees.

Responsibilities

-Manage and execute payroll process and payments, employee benefit administration, employee insurance, employee relations, pension scheme, Costing, HRMS enhancement, data migration, testing and automation of payroll/ESS and HRMS

-Process employee payroll accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements, and company policies.
-Collect, review, and verify timesheets, attendance records, and other relevant data to calculate wages, deductions, and bonuses.
-Ensure accurate processing of new hires, terminations, and employee changes, including updating payroll records, and other related documentation.
-Prepare and distribute pay slips or electronic statements to employees promptly and efficiently.
-Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the payroll system, including personal information, employment details, and salary adjustments.
-Collaborate with the HR department to resolve payroll discrepancies, answer employee queries, and provide necessary payroll-related information.
-Stay informed about changes in payroll regulations and Qatar labor law, ensuring compliance and recommending adjustments to payroll policies and procedures as needed.
-Prepare and submit payroll reports, such as summaries of earnings, deductions, leave balances, and other relevant data, to management on a regular basis.
-Assist in annual audits and ensure payroll records are complete, accurate, and readily available for review.
-Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive employee payroll information.

Qualification
Minimum of 7 years experience as a payroll specialist in Qatar.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of payroll processing, tax regulations, and labor laws.
Proficiency in using payroll software and systems.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
High level of professionalism and ethical conduct.


Applicant must be based in Qatar.
