Description

You will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed technical drawings and plans for various construction projects.
The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in drafting software, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and project teams.


Create detailed and accurate technical drawings, including architectural, structural, electrical, and mechanical plans.
Interpret and analyze architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in the creation of drawings.
Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to develop and modify technical drawings.
Maintain proficiency in industry-standard CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks.
Ensure adherence to drafting standards and best practices in the use of CAD tools and software.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
Participate in design and coordination meetings to provide input and contribute to the development of drawings.
Conduct thorough reviews and quality checks of drawings to identify and correct errors or discrepancies.
Ensure drawings adhere to project specifications, industry standards, and applicable regulations.
Maintain organized documentation of all drawings and revisions.
Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices related to drafting and design.
Seek opportunities for professional development and participate in relevant training programs or courses.


Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of experience working as a Draughtsman in the construction industry.
A recognizable qualification or degree within Engineering, Product Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks.
Strong understanding of architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and building codes.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and precise technical drawings.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze and interpret technical information.

Applicant must be living in Qatar.
Applications outside Qatar will not be considered.
