Job Summary:
The HR Supervisor plays a critical role in managing the human resources functions within the general contracting company. They are responsible for overseeing various HR activities, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, policy implementation, and compliance with employment laws and regulations. The HR Supervisor acts as a trusted advisor to the management team and employees, providing guidance on HR-related matters and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
 
Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding:
• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and hire qualified candidates for various positions.
• Conduct job analysis, create job descriptions, and advertise job openings.
• Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and participate in the selection process.
• Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and compliance with company policies and procedures.
 
Employee Relations:
• Foster positive employee relations by promoting open communication and addressing employee concerns and grievances.
• Conduct investigations into employee complaints and facilitate resolution.
• Implement corrective/disciplinary actions when necessary, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
 
HR Data Management and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files, payroll information, and other HR-related documentation.
• Generate HR reports and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations to management.
 
Policy Implementation and Compliance:
• Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks in alignment with legal requirements and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Communicate HR policies and procedures to employees and provide guidance on their interpretation and application.
 
Training and Development:
• Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
• Coordinate and deliver training sessions on related topics.
