Vacancy for Inbound Tourism Manager
A Qatari Travel and Tourism Company looking to hire experienced Inbound Tourism Manager, with excellent communication to join its team:
1.     He /She will be required to effectively manage and run the inbound tourism business from selected markets with particular emphasis to the leisure business.
2.     Fully responsible for budgeting and implementation + P & L.
3.     To procure best deals with suppliers of ground services that meets individual market requirements
4.     To continuously source new businesses and service new business from existing and new market.
5.     To oversee and manage the operational activities to support and provide an efficient service delivery for guests
6.     To understand the regulatory and compliance issues in relation to running the inbound activities.
7.     Responsible for inbound activities (excursions, MICE and hotel reservations, transfers, visas etc..
8.     Responsible for local corporate sales to target the incentives and events.
9.     Manage complete inbound operations and staff management.
10.  Plan strategies to increase sales and achieve the set targets.
11.  Produce monthly reports / updates.
12.  Managing & exhibiting at selected trade shows.
13.  Generate sales from all selected markets and achieve set targets.
14.  Create and introduce new packages.
15.  Maintain good relationship with all the local hoteliers and suppliers.
16.  Responsible to contract with overseas agents, wholesalers and online systems.
17.  Responsible for marketing inbound products locally and international.
18.  Handle customer complaints, dealing with customer enquiries and aiming to meet their expectations.
19.  Liaising with travel partners, including airlines and hotels, to manage bookings and schedules, often one year in advance.
20.  To ensure regular contact with clients and provide timely and efficient responses to all customer queries.
21.  To contribute to a drive for excellence across the wider inbound sales & operations team and other departments.
22.  An understanding of social media platforms including Facebook and Twitter.
·       Minimum five years’ experience in the same field / managerial level.
·       Fluency in English, high level of computer skills.
·        Good management skills.
·       Excellent knowledge of Leisure Travel products & services and holiday destinations.
·       Experience in airline sales preferred.
·       Experience in B2B trade / corporate sales / management.
·        Experience in B2B / booking engine provision
·       Personal experience of achieving better-than-expected results across a number of campaigns.
·       Self-starter with a positive outlook.
·       Proactive and highly organized, with strong time management and planning skills.
·        Analytical and inquisitive, with excellent attention to detail.
·       Passion for excellence
