Job Title: IT Technical Support Engineer
Location: Qatar
Salary: 3500
We are seeking an experienced and motivated IT Technical Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background and experience in providing technical support for a range of IT systems and technologies, including Sophos and Fortinet VPN, Cisco switches and routers, Microsoft 365 and Azure Backup, Windows Server, Windows Desktop OS and hardware. Additionally, the candidate must hold a valid Qatar driving license and Transferable visa with NOC.
Responsibilities:
Provide first and second line technical support to end-users
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Sophos and Fortinet VPN, Cisco switches and routers, Microsoft 365 and Azure Backup, Windows Server, and Windows Desktop OS and hardware
Configure, install, and maintain IT systems and equipment, such as laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile devices
Ensure that all incidents are logged and updated accurately in the ticketing system
Proactively monitor the performance of IT systems and identify potential issues
Provide training and guidance to end-users on the use of IT systems and software
Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex technical issues
Must be able to travel to various sites using personal transportation, therefore a valid Qatar driving license is required
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in a technical support role
Strong knowledge of Sophos and Fortinet VPN, Cisco switches and routers, Microsoft 365 and Azure Backup, Windows Server, and Windows Desktop OS and hardware
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Good organizational and time management skills
Microsoft certifications are a plus
Must hold a valid Qatar driving license 
Transferable visa with NOC.
