Fiber Optic Cable Technician (certified from Ooredoo or Kahramaa)
Locally available canidates in Qatar
Duration - 3 Months
Location - Messaid
Candidate must be ITI or Diploma from the recognized institute with minimum 6-8 year of Experience.
Ø Technician must be certified from Ooredoo or Kahramaa.
Ø Candidate must be familiar with the components provided in Drawings.
Ø Inspecting, testing, and repairing equipment used in telecommunications networks including and not limited to OTDR, Networks Analyzer.
Ø Installing new fiber optic networks and repairing existing ones as needed.
Ø Installing and maintaining equipment used in telecommunications networks such as routers, switches, and repeaters.
Ø Installing new infrastructure or upgrading existing infrastructure to accommodate technological advances in the telecommunications industry.
Ø Installing fiber optic equipment such as splicing machines, fiber optic test equipment, and fiber optic cable termination devices.
Ø Installing fiber optic cables in conduits, Underground or aerial locations such as on telephone poles or between buildings
Ø Performing troubleshooting on fiber optic networks to identify problems and provide solutions.
Ø Performing all types of testing with OTDR including drum test, pre-installation, end to end test.
Ø Good knowledge of drum test of SM and MM fibers.
Ø Knowledge about Work permits system in Oil & Gas industries.
Ø Performing all types of LAN Cables Termination and crimping.
